JCAHO Accreditation
JCAHO Gold Seal of Approval also called National Quality Approval

The Joint Commission, also known as JCAHO, is the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in healthcare. Achieving accreditation is not mandatory for skilled nursing centers, but Providence appreciates the commitment to quality that The Joint Commission’s standards represent, so Providence skilled nursing centers gladly apply. All three Providence Healthcare & Rehabilitation Centers in Illinois have earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval as well as a special certification in post-acute care.
