ABOUT US
A recognized leader in aging services, Providence Life Services draws on decades of experience to help enhance people’s lives, no matter what their age or medical situation.
OUR HISTORY
A Christian, not-for-profit ministry, Providence Life Services was founded in 1959 out of a partnership of churches and Christians who wanted to be able to offer better care to their seniors than what was available from typical facilities of the day.
What started as a single Christian nursing home in Palos Heights, Illinois, has now expanded to include rehabilitation services, Assisted Living options, Retirement Living communities, and in-home medical and private duty help in Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.
Providence Life Services is a member of AAHSA (the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging), IAHSA (the Illinois Association of Homes and Services for the Aging), LSN (Life Services Network), ALFA (Assisted Living Federation of America), and Quality First (a quality standards program developed by AAHSA). Providence Healthcare & Rehabilitation Centers are accredited by the Joint Commission.
