The growing demand for in-home services leads us to expand Providence At Home's service area to include Chicago's western suburbs.
Providence Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center of South Holland begins working with Ingalls Health Systems to analyze hospital readmission rates and develop clinical pathways designed to minimize hospital recidivism. The result is a partnership that combines the care of Providence with the rehab expertise of Ingalls.
Providence Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center of Zeeland joins the growing Mary Free Bed network. Mary Free Bed is the largest rehab hospital in Michigan, and our arrangement with them brings rehab expertise to the Zeeland community.
2012
Park Place of Elmhurst
Park Place of Elmhurst opens, and the first residents move in. Park Place is our first “Life Care” community, offering residents a vibrant lifestyle at a locked-in rate, with guaranteed access to assistant living, rehab, memory support, or skilled nursing in the future as new health needs arise.
