As the father of a child with special needs, Sam VanTil brings both passion and compassion to his leadership role on the Providence Board of Governors. Having known both heartache and victory, he embraces opportunities to leverage his experience for the benefit of others who may be walking a difficult path through any stage of life. He graduated from Illiana Christian High School (Lansing, Illinois), Calvin College (Grand Rapids, Michigan), and Michigan State University (East Lansing, Michigan), and has served a variety of church, school, and community boards. His personal appreciation for the ministry of Providence Life Services gives him a unique perspective for continuing to move this ministry forward.
