|   Meet our Internal Medicine Medical Director, Dr. Weiser Cordero

Meet our Internal Medical Director, Dr. Weiser CorderoDOWNERS GROVE, ILLINOIS (January 2012)  | Providence Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center of Downers Grove is proud to offer our patients the services of Dr. Weiser Cordero, who serves as our Medical Director. Dr. Cordero's educational credentials include:

  • Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University in Chicago (2002)
  • Medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine (2006)

He then completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

In addition to these qualifications, Dr. Cordero's medical interests include managing hypertension and dyslipidemia, and assisting the elderly in aging well through geriatric medicine. He is affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital and Hinsdale Hospital.

Dr. Cordero rounds weekly at Providence and regularly collaborates with our other in-house physicians. This enables us to manage more care onsite, with fewer returns to the hospital.
