Providence participates in the Quality First initiative, a program launched in 2002 by the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA). Through Quality First, Providence partners with AAHSA to ensure the highest standards of care in all the types of aging services and all levels of care we provide — skilled nursing, at-home care, Assisted Living, and Independent Living.

By being a part of the Quality First program, which includes consistently monitoring the different aspects of the services we provide, we're demonstrating our commitment to quality in everything we do. We proudly display the Quality First logo at all our communities as a visible reminder of our commitment to excellence. That's Providence Style.

Our Commitment to Quality Elder Care Services
Providence Life Services is committed to the Membership Covenant of the AAHSA Quality First program. Through this program all Providence campuses and services publicly assert these commitments and values:

1. We are committed to achieving excellence in the quality of care and services provided to consumers, and thus earning the public’s trust.
2. We believe that aging has a fulfilling purpose in life and that our society's elders have enduring value to family and community.
3. We believe that not-for-profit organizations have a special role in society to provide healthy, affordable, and ethical aging services. Our objective is to provide the highest quality and most compassionate care and services to the people we serve.
4. We believe that the field of aging services should adhere to applicable legal, ethical, and professional standards that are based on stated values and policies in each of our organizations.
5. We believe that we should offer programs and services that are based on contemporary research and knowledge to meet the needs of the people we serve as well as paid and volunteer caregivers, to the best of our ability.
