When you’re looking for an in-home care provider, you want a name you can trust. As you’re researching your options, compare your findings with this list of distinctives that set Providence At Home apart from the crowd:
1. Providence At Home offers a full spectrum of in-home services, including Home Health Care, Chronic Disease Management, Private Duty, Palliative Care, and Hospice care. (Most in-home agencies specialize in only one type of service.)
2. Because Providence At Home offers all these services, you get continuity of care. For example, your same care team will stay with you if you transition from Home Health to Hospice. And all our caregivers consult with each other, so everyone has all the information they need about your case.
3. Plus, because we’re part of the Providence family, we can help you smoothly transition to additional types of care if that becomes necessary — skilled nursing, rehabilitation/therapy, Assisted Living, and more!
4. Even so, if you have a need we can’t meet, we’ll provide referrals to other respected agencies.
5. Providence At Home offers one-hour service. Many agencies require a two-hour minimum, and some even require a four-hour minimum before they consider it worth their time to come out!
6. Providence At Home does not charge for your initial evaluation. Some agencies require you to make some kind of commitment before they’ll come out and evaluate you to see what kind of care you need! We don’t. We’ll come to your house, do the evaluation, recommend the services that best meet your needs, and then let you decide if you want to sign up with us.
7. If you do sign up with Providence At Home, a supervisor will call you within 72 hours to make sure you’re completely satisfied.
8. Providence At Home has round-the-clock live answering service (never a recording).
9. We understand how huge it is to trust someone you don’t know. So we work hard to make sure you know we’re worthy of your trust. Providence At Home is Joint Commission-accredited and is a member of these regulated associations:
- National Private Duty Association
- Illinois Home Care and Hospice Association
- Indiana Home Care Association
- National Association for Homecare and Hospice
- National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization
Not all of these accreditations and associations are required, but we feel going the extra mile is important to affirm the trust you place in us.
10. We take a holistic approach to health. We offer spiritual care and Christian support because we understand the connection between body, mind, and spirit.
11. We provide education so that our clients not only understand their health needs, but can also be proactive about managing their own health care. We minister to whole families, knowing that caregiving can be a strain on everyone.
