January 2, 2010
Because of the care my husband received almost three years ago, I was happy to call Providence At Home when I had my first knee replacement in June and my second in November. I tell everyone about your services and what excellent homecare you offer!

HOME SAFETY CHECKLIST
  1. Ensure adequate lighting throughout the house. Use halogen light bulbs for a brighter, softer light.
  2. Avoid monochromatic, hard-to-see color schemes. Instead, use color to differentiate spaces and furniture.
  3. Reorganize storage spaces for easier access. Place needed items where you can get to them without the use of a ladder.
  4. Look for ways to simplify everyday tasks. For example, hang pictures on walls rather than setting them on book cases and dressers where they have to be moved for dusting.
  5. Install safety devices on thermostats and stoves.
  6. Repair carpet areas suffering from daily wear-and-tear. Eliminate rugs and other floor coverings that might be a tripping hazard.

Not only do they offer top-notch technical skills and knowledge, but they also combine that with a sense of ministry that is a genuine blessing to people.
