Memory Support at Victorian Inn

Let Victorian Inn walk with you through the transitions demanded by dementia. Our sensitive support and sympathetic understanding of memory impairments can give you and your family peace of mind in a situation that feels overwhelming.

While science can't yet reverse the losses caused by cognitive impairments, Victorian Inn never forgets the person trapped deep within. We create an environment that offers safety while still keeping people involved in life. We design activities that engage people physically, mentally, and socially. And family members can be as involved as they choose.

Our memory support care program is designed for residents with moderate memory loss. Our Memory Support Care Program offers a safe and stimulating environment. This program uses cueing and simplifications to break down tasks into steps, encouraging participation. Our memory program includes all the services offer in the Basic Care, Wellness Care, and Wellness Plus Care Programs.

We partner with the experts to offer specialized support for residents with Alzheimers' or other memory impairments.

Memory Support Care Program includes all of the basic care program options, plus:
  • Higher staff ratios to allow additional time for cueing and completing tasks
  • Knowledgeable, experienced, and compassionate staff trained in dementia
    and Alzheimer's disease
  • Multi-sensory stimulation
  • Medication administration set up by a licensed professional
  • Private Memory Support dining room
  • Memory Support Nurse Manager for 12 hours a day
