Andy is always on the move, always looking for ways to "liven things up" for himself and his neighbors at Saratoga Grove. He has become something of an ambassador of goodwill to new residents who move in — because he remembers how difficult it can be to start a new life in a new community.

In conversation and by example, Andy encourages new members of the Saratoga Grove community to look through the directory and to get involved in as many recreational opportunities as possible. This was how he himself unexpectedly reunited with two old friends — one a classmate at Timothy Christian School, and the other a childhood friend and neighbor. Relationships like this have helped make Saratoga Grove feel like home.
