A good salesman loves people and can strike up a conversation with anyone. That's Fred Bolhouse. He spent his entire career in sales, and it's easy to see why. He loves talking to people, hearing their stories, helping them find what they need. His conversations glisten with jokes, quips, and laughter.

That love of people is the reason Fred moved to Holland Home. His wife died when he was 80 years old, and he spent the next 10 years alone. Moving to Holland Home and surrounding himself with people restored the spring in his step and the sparkle in his eyes. "I felt at home immediately," he remembers.
