About Providence At Home
In the 1990s, home healthcare was still a new idea, but Providence Life Services recognized it as another way to provide quality care to people who need it. In 1993 we formed our first home healthcare division — Providence Home Healthcare. In 1994 they were licensed by the state of Illinois.
By 1995, this small, young division had recorded 1,500 home visits, far more than anyone had envisioned in such a short time. In 1997 they achieved Accreditation with Commendation, the highest rating given by the Joint Commission.
Today Providence At Home services people throughout Illinois and Indiana. In many cases, the need is short-term — following a hospital stay, for example. For other people, the need is ongoing — help with laundry, or meal preparation, or errand-running. In all cases, the help is appreciated by the client as well as his or her family.
While most in-home care agencies offer either Private Duty or Home Health, Providence At Home offers both — in Illinois and Indiana:
- Private Duty services from Providence At Home
- Home Health services from Providence At Home
