Labor Day gives us an opportunity to thank God for all the front line workers who labor on behalf of the residents in our communities. Their kindness, their creativity, their attention to detail, and their Christian commitment -- all serve to make this ministry an example of Quality Christian Care. Ask God to bless them with the physical strength they need, and the joy of knowing they are making a difference in people's lives.

The end of August marks the end of summer, and many families find themselves overwhelmed with the demands of preparing for the routines and workload associated with the school year. Parents of school-aged children who are also caring for aging parents may feel stressed and frustrated. Ask God to bless them with supernatural strength and patience.

This week we are thanking God for the sponsors who participate in our annual Providence Open, in order to extend care to people suffering from Alzheimer's and other memory impairments. We are blessed to be part of a Christian community that provides generous prayer and financial support. In addition to thanking God for His provision, please say a special prayer for the people afflicted with memory loss. Ask for clarity, peace, and grace.
