10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's Disease - Memory Loss

|   Help from the Alzheimer's Association

Alzheimer's Disease is increasingly common, and some fear it will soon reach epidemic proportions. But not all memory lapses are an indication of Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. Some change in memory is normal as we age.

The Alzheimer's Association has developed a checklist of 10 symptoms that can help determine whether the memory changes you observe or normal or possibly something more serious. The checklist can help with early detection, which is critical if you want as much time as possible to plan for your future. The checklist is only one tool, however. You should still consult with a doctor for more information.

If your research determines that you are in fact facing Alzheimer's Disease, Providence Life Services can help. Many of our campuses offer sensitive, professional Alzheimer's support that gives peace of mind in a situation that can feel overwhelming.

Visit our memory support section to learn which campuses have the memory support you and your family need.
