Chinese delegates visit Providence

TINLEY PARK, Ill.–Fourteen Chinese delegates, made up of government officials from various departments in Shenzhen municipal administration, met with Providence employees to discuss U.S. elder care, particularly within Providence communities.

Providence CEO Rich Schutt gave a presentation to the delegates, covering the past 100 years of health care for seniors, including Providence’s beginning. He also discussed the different levels of care available, as well as the way technology was changing the way seniors receive care.

After lunch, the group toured the Small House buildings at Victorian Village in Homer Glen.
