The Joint Commission is the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in healthcare. Providence has earned the Joint Commission’s prestigious Gold Seal of Approval, as well as a special certification in Post-Acute Care. Achieving accreditation is not mandatory for skilled nursing centers, but Providence appreciates the commitment to quality that The Joint Commission’s standards represent, so we gladly apply.
All Providence skilled nursing care communities are among the 21% of U.S. skilled nursing facilities that have been recognized as a Best Nursing Home for 2020-21 by U.S. News & World Report. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services uses a 5-star quality rating system to rate the care provided at all nursing homes that participate in the Medicare program. Nursing homes with 5 stars are considered to have much above average quality. Providence is proud to currently hold 5-star status in the area of RN Staffing. These ratings are a testimony to our hard work and high standards.
