When Mom needed a place to recover from her illness, Royal Atrium Inn was our number one choice. Quickly, a place to recover became home. She absolutely loved it! She is safe and cared for by attentive staff who go above and beyond to meet her needs. She loves being near friends and can walk and exercise safely. More importantly, their faith-based mission statement takes action everyday in the loving and attentive care during this season of our lives. We are grateful…everyday.” – K. H., daughter of a resident, 5-Star Google Review (April 2018)

Three years ago I moved my Mom to the Royal Atrium Inn after researching most of the assisted living options in the West Michigan area. It was the best decision we could have made. Immediately she has been made to feel at home and comfortable in her new surroundings after having lived alone for the last 30 years. The personal care has been outstanding and we receive regular updates on her physical status. She tells everyone how happy she is and blessed to be there.” – D.I., son of a resident, 5-Star Google Review (March 2018)

I feel at home here.”    |   – Dennis Walters, resident (January 2018) Dennis had spent his life running a successful floral business and involved in ministry. Recently, he decided he might need a little more help as he aged, and so he chose the freedom that comes with assisted living. Please read Dennis’ full testimony here.

I came here because I couldn’t go up steps, and I felt I had to be placed somewhere I could get around better. Both places [Royal Park Place and Royal Atrium Inn] are great. All the people who live here are very nice. I don’t have an enemy here — I love them all. I have no complaints. I love it here. I have friends.” – Cora Vanden Bosch, resident (2015)

I went to visit six different retirement places, and…I picked Royal Park Place because I just liked it the best. It seemed to even be more inexpensive than the others, so that was good! That’s how I made my decision to come here. I must have lived at Royal Park Place for 9 or 10 years. And then…I had to have more care, and that’s why I came to Royal Atrium Inn. I like the people, I like the food, I like everything. I don’t have any complaints!” – Mildred VanderBeek, Royal Park Place resident who moved to Royal Atrium Inn (2015)

This past year I went to the Tulip Festival, the Kite Festival, and the Atlantic Ocean. Some of these were things I had never done before; others were things I didn’t think I’d ever be able to do again. After a year here at Royal Atrium Inn, I am still discovering myself. There are so many ways to make my life exciting, and it’s fun to have my children and grandchildren discover me with me! I thank God for my beautiful family, His beautiful creation, and the beautiful opportunities that each new day brings. I love my new life at Royal Atrium Inn! – J. What I like about the Atrium is the staff is polite, courteous, and very helpful. The food is excellent — you’re not going to please everybody all the time, but they please me all of the time! The atmosphere is outstanding — friendly, caring, and aims to please. The grounds are well kept. Maintenance is fast and efficient; when you need something done, it gets done. I have no suggestions for improvement. I would recommend it to anyone in this time of life who needs care. AAA rating! – B. V., resident

I asked my parents if the Royal Atrium Inn was what they expected, and their answer was, ‘No.’ I then asked if it was better or worse then what they envisioned. They both said, ‘Better…a LOT better!’ – T. L., daughter of residents

Your staff at Royal Atrium Inn and Royal Park Place have been outstanding!! At a very stressful time they have all shown compassion, patience, and kindness toward our family and our mom. They all have gone above and beyond the norm — for which we are eternally grateful. Thanks so much! – D. D., daughter-in-law of resident
