In 1961, Providence Life Services held the first Torchlight Dinner at the Original McCormick Place. Over the years, the celebration moved to the suburbs and then back to Chicago touring all the city’s major museums. This year we’ll enjoy a newly-renovated Chicago icon: The Historic Old Post Office Building.

Held at Chicago’s Historic Post Office Building
Please mark your calendars for November 12, 2021, as we gather together at the Old Chicago Main Post Office.
Just as this once-abandoned building has been restored to its former Art Deco-style glory, we have faith that our Lord will guide us through this current pandemic crisis and will soon restore his people to new life. Please plan to gather with us to give thanks for all of our blessings!
Since 1934, people have driven thru the Post Office Building on the Eisenhower Expressway.
This elegant structure was closed in 1997 but has now been totally remodeled, as it welcomes new tenants as Chicago’s most exciting new venue.
After the reception, you’ll enjoy a four-course dinner catered by Blue Plate, nationally-recognized for their service and creativity. Their award-winning menu is sure to delight!
After dinner, take advantage of the chance to socialize as you enjoy decadent dessert, or visit the Telegram Lounge for bocce ball, pool, and ping pong. You can also sit back and relax as you enjoy breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline.
