An Assisted Living Research Checklist

What to Look for in a Community

You’re beginning the process of researching Assisted Living, and that’s a big step. But touring communities may be overwhelming and exhausting, and you don’t want to miss anything. What exactly should you look for?

Take a family member or friend with you, someone who is less involved in the process and may be able to devote more attention to details about the community. We also suggest you schedule a second visit at a different time of day to see if what you find out about the community stays consistent. Check out some of our advice to help you get started.

You can also download our Research Checklist to make the process easier. You may want to print it out and take it with on your visits to Assisted Living communities.
