Whether you’ve been physically active your entire life, or if working out is new to you, a trained fitness specialist will help you plan a program designed around your goals and abilities.
Using state-of-the-art 3D motion sensing, the VirtuSense program can help you identify weaknesses that increase your chances of falling, and proactively develop a plan to help reduce your fall risk.
We believe that caring for your mind and spirit are just as important as caring for your body. For those who desire it, our on-staff chaplain can comfort you with the Word of God, pray with you, and offer wisdom and counsel.
Royal Atrium Inn is proud to have partnered with certified geriatric nurse practitioner Brenda Graham to bring primary care services to our residents in the comfort of their own apartments. She is available to see residents for routine check-ups as well as conduct physical exams, prescribe and refill medications, and order tests and labs as needed. Her patients appreciate her willingness to listen to their concerns, as well as her expertise in managing the diseases and chronic conditions that older adults commonly experience.
Brenda earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and earned her master's degree in nursing from Michigan State University in East Lansing. She practices as part of the Spectrum Health Medical Group, and is a member of The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine and the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association.
