As we strive for excellence in all we do, Providence Life Services is honored to receive the following accreditations, ratings, and awards.
The Joint Commission, also known as JCAHO, is the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in healthcare. Achieving accreditation is not mandatory for skilled nursing centers, but Providence appreciates the commitment to quality that The Joint Commission’s standards represent, so Providence skilled nursing centers gladly apply. All of our rehabilitation centers in Illinois have earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval as well as a special certification in post-acute care.
Our communities have been awarded Best Senior Living status by U.S. News & World Report.
Each of our Skilled Nursing facilities have been certified as Vohra Wound Physicians Centers of Excellence for Wound Management. The Center of Excellence in Wound Management was created to highlight and identify facilities that have developed a superior wound management program. To receive this award, we have met the following criteria: Less than 1% wound related hospitalization rate; Vohra wound physician rounding with an average wound census of more than 5 patients per week; Regular team meetings with a focus on Quality and Process Improvement (QAPI); Designated Vohra wound care certified nurse with availability 7 days a week.
Each of the Providence skilled nursing communities have received 5-star ratings in at least one category from Medicare.gov.
