Freedom Found at Park Place | Ron & Carolyn Vallort
When Ron and Carolyn Vallort decided it was time to move from their longtime home, they weren’t sure what to expect. What they found at Park Place was not just a new residence, but a vibrant community that provided them with freedom, peace of mind, and joy in their everyday living.
“We didn’t want to feel trapped,” Carolyn explained. “Here, we’re not stuck in our apartment. We can enjoy social activities, good food, and the friendships we’ve built. It’s not losing freedom; it’s gaining it.”
The Vallorts had first tried condo living but quickly found that maintenance boards and ongoing repairs created more stress than relief. With Ron’s Parkinson’s diagnosis, the couple knew they needed a place that could provide support as needs changed, while still giving them independence. Park Place was the answer.
From the start, the Vallorts were impressed with the responsiveness of Park Place. “We have more social events here than you could ever want; you’d go crazy if you went to all of them,” Ron said. “It keeps us active and connected.”
Life at Park Place has also meant safety, convenience, and a sense of connection. With accessible apartments, on-site dining, wellness resources, and a welcoming community, the Vallorts have the freedom to focus on what matters most: time together, time with family, and time spent enjoying life.
“I just wish prospective residents really understood,” Carolyn said. “Everybody thinks they’re giving up freedom to move here. But actually, you’re gaining freedom—freedom from worry, freedom to be social, and freedom to live fully.”
For Ron and Carolyn, Park Place is more than a place to live. It’s a place to thrive.
