Meet the Community Coordinator Making a Difference
Her journey with Providence Life Services began five years ago at Village Woods, and when that community closed, she transitioned to Park Place of St. John, where she served as a unit clerk. When the opportunity arose to step into the role of Community Coordinator at Victorian Village in Homer Glen, she knew it was the right fit. “I’ve been here for about eight months now, and I love it,” she shares.
Originally from Florida, Corin moved to Illinois ten years ago and currently resides in Tinley Park. “This community feels like family,” she shares. “The residents and my coworkers make this place truly special.”
Her love for seniors is at the heart of everything she does. “The residents are 110% my favorite part of the job,” she says. “I enjoy listening to their stories and helping them however I can.” Her days are filled with responsibilities—from handling morning reports and billing, to supporting marketing efforts—but it’s the time spent with residents that brings her the greatest joy.
Having spent more than two decades in healthcare, Corin’s passion for senior living runs deep. She began her career as a CNA in Florida and continued as a caregiver in Indiana before joining Providence Life Services. “I’ve always been in healthcare,” she reflects. “It’s just where my heart is. It’s incredibly rewarding to make a difference in people’s lives.”
When she isn’t helping residents or keeping the community running smoothly, Corin enjoys talking with her two grown sons, who live in New York, and preparing for her upcoming wedding in Florida.
At the end of the day, Corin’s work is about more than just tasks and responsibilities—it’s about people. “I’ve learned so much from the residents here,” she says. “They’ve lived incredible lives, and hearing their experiences makes me appreciate everything even more.”
Her passion, experience, and dedication make her an integral part of the Victorian Village family, where she helps create an environment that feels like home for everyone.
