Caregiver Support Groups Meet at Providence Communities

No one plans to be the caregiver of someone with dementia, but according to the Alzheimer’s Association, more than six million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, and over 11 million Americans provide unpaid care for people with dementia. They translate that into 18 billion hours of care. These unpaid caregivers make up 83 percent of the help provided to older adults with dementia.
