Our innovative, award-winning Small House approach to rehab is unlike any rehab you’ve seen before. Each patient enjoys a private room, ideal for recovery, and access to our state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym when they're working their way toward health. You won't find long hallways; you'll be steps away from relaxing in front of our fireplace, enjoying a delicious made-to-order meal in our open kitchen, or reading a book on our relaxing porch.

Our goal is to get you home as quickly as possible, but not before you’re ready.

Revolutionary Design

Our unique “Small House” at Victorian Village Health & Wellness Center was thoughtfully designed like a home, not an institution, to promote greater independence. The smaller space means the walking distance from bedroom to dining room is short enough for most people to navigate without assistance. Therapists incorporate real-world community life into patients’ treatment plans – practicing everyday skills like folding a load of laundry, setting the table for dinner, or delivering mail to other clients.

Personalized Attention

We know nothing is more important than the trust between our patients and their caregivers, so Victorian Village is committed to safe staffing ratios. With no more than 30 rehab patients in our Small House at a time, patients receive the personalized care and attention they deserve. Our facility consistently ranks among the best-staffed in the nation for both nurse aides and RNs, according to CMS reports.

Joint Commission accreditation is not mandatory for skilled nursing centers, but Victorian Village appreciates the commitment to quality that The Joint Commission’s standards represent, so we gladly apply. We’ve earned the Joint Commission’s prestigious Gold Seal of Approval, along with an additional Post-Acute Care Certification, recognizing our effective care transitions and prevention of unnecessary hospitalizations.

Advanced Clinical Care

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. That’s why Victorian Village is certified by Vohra Wound Physicians as a Center of Excellence for Wound Management. Our clinical team has undergone specialized training to prevent and treat all types of chronic and complex wound and skin issues, reducing the need to send our patients out to wound care centers or hospitals.
